There's an Easter Egg on the DVD to make it play in the correct order.

I recently discovered Dario Argento - granddaddy of b movie horror, massive influence on John Carpenter et al and even produced Oscar Romero's Dawn of the Dead.
Suspiria:

Deep Red / Profondo Rosso:

Even the soundtracks are dope.

Come to the thread in an inspiration to find films to watch and so far meh.
I want to see that Hanna but resent paying £10 to get into the pictures, plus another £10 on petrol and the obligatorily munch. I'll wait for it to come on Lovefilm.com

I enjoyed it but was expecting it to be better. The story and the arc of it reminded me of something the BBC or Channel 4 would produce as a one off doc only far glossier with a bigger budget.cityzen wrote:Fucking meh.

This was mentioned on a Joe Rogan podcast so checked it out and thought it was excellent
Not much of a narrative but watchable scene after watchable scene. Quite disturbing at times too
Directed by Harmony Korine who done Kids

It's all about the atmosphere for me, love most of his movies except Deep Red and Inferno.
Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched latel
i'm also not afraid to say the social network is overrated because it's got good marketing. it's not that great.

Fair play, Argento is obviously not to everyone's tastes. In many ways his movies are objectively 'bad'.
Some classics I've only recently had the pleasure of seeing:
