Even when people were rioting against Tesco, they weren't destroying other peoples property like how Rahul stated. Besides, Tesco is a worthwhile fight. That company is one of the biggest offenders of social and environmental issues. They run completely unlegislated and are bed with the government, like it's own corrupt nation. Corporations like that must be stopped.
This Vancouver riot over a hockey game is just aimless.

feels good to have people talking shit about canada and not us for a minute. whew.
maybe its because they dont have the similar culture of kicking shit out of each other every weekend. it all builds up and they let it out on property rather than each other...

but damaging property after losing a hockey game is sad
atleast with football here, they kick the shit out of each other or riot against the police not batter property
Yeah, I'll believe football riots have never damaged any sort of property.

very true, but now in the internet age where veryone has a phone in their camera, we get instant coverage, not edited together news segments. we get every dumb fuck rioter posing for a picture in front of burning cop cars becuase they know their friend can upload it to facebook and they'll have a new default pic to show off. we get people taking youtube clips of their idiot friends jumping through bonfires.
in days past, you got a 30 second news segment about it, some boring footage from a helicopter. you didn't get the full effect
i was there, aside from people getting hurt it was pretty sweet. The riot had nothing to do with the fact Vancouver lost it would have happened either way

If not for the game, why would that riot have happened?
