I think the apparent lack of afterhour culture in the UK is due to:
- Clubs filling up a bit earlier than in Europe
- People are generally already quite drunk by the time they get into clubs at the earlier time
- Most people seem to vanish at 3am (in London anyway)
- People seem to prefer heading to the comfort of someone's house to chat and chill after a full night

Stinky's used to do a daytime mong out, there are a few on New Year's day normally.

Standard on the weekend mashups in Leeds though! It was pretty dull on the houseparty front publicly when I was in the student zones though there was definitely stuff going on, always a night on in town anyway

massive, been to a few in the same house before aswell, giant house up the top of grosvenor rd.

Was just going to say. There was 2 different warehouse partys last time i was down. The Bass Bunker (African-Caribbean Centre) on Osborne street is sometimes open till the wee hours too.
