First dubstep track - Rocket Salvo

Post by portcullis » Tue Jun 21, 2011 8:15 am

This is my first dubstep track that I made. It's banger and not a dance mix... Any criticism is appreciated.

i hope it's heavy and atmospheric enough for you guys! 8)

The intro is kind of boring, why not work some synths in the beginning? The kick is kind of weak too, sounds like you have a lowpass covering it all up.

Yeah i guess the intro is a bit too sparse. I was trying to get a shell shock atmosphere going. The kick is synthesized through operator so I'll see if i can make it sound more dynamic or if I should just use kick samples and layer them. I just started so I'll only get better. Thanks for the feedback.
