I haven't seen the last 2 episodes yet, but (yeah, apart from the 1st one) they were really good...
One of those things where you're thinking in places "this is awful", but then find yourself needing to watch the next episode! ha
Best home grown thing that's been on the BBC (or terrestrial full stop) for quite a long time in my opinion.
I don't turn on Korn to get it on, I be playin Digi Mystikz 'til the dawn

I actually liked the beginning episodes a lot more, they really milked the formula after that. ending was annoying
and there isnt going to be another series

Have to say I'm not normally one for dramas, least of all cop based dramas. This one was really good though. That bit where his wifes new bloke punches him and he just rowdies him up and flashes his badge when the other coppers arrive was sick.
Someone said he was in the Wire too. Big look!

That was the only reason I watched. He was a beast in The Wire. Good actor.

Watched series 2 episode 1 on Thursday then spent the weekend watching all of the entire first series as it's awesome! I quite like the concept of how you know who the killer is most of the time, it's just a case of outsmarting them.

Good episode.
Bit of a predictable ending, but enjoyable none the less.

Saw the trailer for this before it was on and since then have seen it on the front page of iPlayer everyday but still havn't watched it! I guess i'm just afraid it might not be worth it but i'll have to watch it to the end. Might give this a shot later

Luthers back, new season looks pretty good, some darkness going on with the
weirdo woman killer.
Also, check out The Shadow Line. Fucking sick, some really good British actors in it too!

Series 1 was a bit cringe in a lot of places.
First Episode seems better, and darker. Ep 2 tonight

Really not a fan of Luther, cliche shite trying to pass it's self off as edgy, but...

Would really recommend The Shadow Line. Very slowed paced and the dialogue is horrendously cringeworthy at times. But the atmosphere and direction is fantastic. Sound design really good as well. Very tense scenes in places, especially when Stephen Rea is on screen as his character is dark as fuck. Best drama I've seen on BBC for years though, definitely.
Still not up to HBO standard tho....

totally agree season 1 was cringey, so many cliches but the 1st episode of the 2nd series seemed loads more edgy and dark. idris elba does smack it, only thing that made 1st series watchable was him.

Yeah I agree. People in masks freak me out something shocking so it could have been a lot scarier. This sort of felt like a "tying up the loose ends" episode.
