@Circusjam, niceeeeee. That kick and snare hits nicely!! Did you get the samples from the Vengeance pack? Really well done because they're nice. :) Like the track overall, some nice sfx here and there and a very cool build up. I can hear this going on UKF oneday. ;) Where's your feedback though man? :/ Threads not gunna work unless you give as much as you take.

@Alexeyhermann, really cool intro, nice and ambient, I thought it was gunna be a chilled track. :L Drop took me by suprise. :) That bass is sooooooo good. Make that kick and snare are stronger. At the moment they're weak and not hitting hard enough. Check out the gain thread for tips on the volume of them. ;)

@Orca, that's really nice man. I was wondering, is there any way you can filter in the drums in the intro. Sounds quite blunt the way they kick in straight away, you could soften that unless that's what you're going for? Niceeee bass, pretty heavy, a bit to white-noisey for my liking but it works with the tune. That lead is killer, really like that. Make sure it stays stays strong in the mix. Hear a lot of borgore influences here. ;) Really good bro, keep it up.

Here's mine: http://soundcloud.com/filthzilla/pack-y ... ch/s-ketGQ
Just follow that link to the Soundcloud page. It's private atm. ;)

I want ideas for my intros/breakdown!!

@PRR "Hover" i think name fits, love the slow sub womp.

@Bud Spencertron "cave" wow amazing work man, i don't know what else to say. the wubs, the FX, the melody, the vibe. hands down best shit ive heard in a while.

@ filthzilla: Damn! I really love this one. The rhythm and composition is really sweet! I don't really know what to say, maybe some parts feel a bit empty, a pad or more hi hats might work, but again I think it's pretty damn good as it is! Keep up the great work man

@Promethium X : Nice atmo, I like the overall feel. Your wubs are nice, but I think there's a volume issue. It needs some mastering, not a lot but I feel like the main bass is a bit loud compared to the rest. I don't know if it's just me but the sub is a bit overpowering the rest. Is it too low? I don't know about that. But it's pretty good man! Keep working on it, so far so good :)

@orca: I love the drums in this, and then it drops, holy shit. I really love it, but the high pitched ringing is really killing it for me. I think you should EQ the high frequencies as when I listen to it on smaller speakers it really hurts my ears. But overall I love it! It's just beast

I wanna review more but only having my shitty speakers makes it difficult to properly review stuff. I'd rather not review songs and saying shit because I can't hear well.

Here's mine Soundcloud

OH btw I know the intro stop start isn't great, I didn't plan on it, there were a few mistakes that I didn't notice :S Also some parts seem saturated and muddy, I know. I think it's just the distortion and too many elements :?

Ok so heres my feedback as promised!

@Echoi - love the trippy drums man, i wanna start doin more of that myself. them tom/bongo hits fit really well. nice slurpy bass man! very sick tune.

@Cubicle - nice atmospheric intro, evil soundin sample. sick filter wobble on the drop. BIG DROP too! very nice and bouncy. sounds like older dubstep which is a very good thing. lovin this track. i like how the second drop is only slightly different aswell, stops it from getting too repetative. respect man.

@Loud Flavor - wasnt expectin a dnb track but im pleasantly suprised. intro fits very well witht he lyrics. that drop! whoa man, big sounds. filthy, fast and deep. i like the change of drum pattern too, as i said about Echoi's tune, i love the trippy drum style. very sick choon bro!! cant wait to hear the finished version.

@willryan042 - nice intro, i like the little clap samples here and there. maybe try panning them left and righ to mix it up a little. im not too sure about the drop though, i dont know if its the sound your using, or whether the bassline is out of key with the other parts of the track, but i reckon with a little tweaking you can get it to fit much nicer. also the guitar sound (i think its a guitar anyway) seems to be drowning out other elements, but only on some notes. maybe add a little compression to tighten up the sound and make it sit nicely with the other sounds. the second breakdown is very gooooood tho. nice panning work with the clicks. safe bro.

@BudSpencertron - the bass drop is nice. i reckon the growler bass could do with a little work, seems a bit too muddy. also i reckon you could make that snare snap alot more. try to boost a little more around the 200hz region, or even layer a sharper snare over the top. i like the little break sample in the background too, it adds to the drums and keeps em from getting repetative.

@alexeyhermann - that snare needs beefing up bro, both low end and high end. good sample before the drop, but ti just seems a little weak when it finally does drop. i dont know whether you meant the lfo to be slightly out of time, but i reckon moving a little to sync better with the rest of the track will make it hit harder. beef up those drums and it shud sound sweeet man. respect.

nuff respect to you all and everyone else at DSF!! safee!

@budspencertron - power people - love how glitchy your stuff is, feelin the intro, but that squeltchy bass sometimes gets lost in its own squelch and loses all power.

- mustachio - such a cool tune, enjoyed the weirdness of it all. I really cant suggest any ways to make it better, just wanted to say i enjoyed it!

@voodeedoo - like all the chopped processed voice noises. I think the mid range waaaaarmp at 1.00 could be eq'ed so it gets rid of that muddiness and sounds a bit crisper but thats personal pref. Im feeling the change into the 4x4 section, always nice to chagne the groove of the tune. Sometimes i think the delay on the pad glisteny sort of noise has a bit too much feedback so it starts gettin a bit nasty. Great tune though.

@willryan - blames jake - the intro sounds pretty discordant, as far as meklody goes theres nothing there to really grab on to, to set it in a key or what not, i feel like theres something out of tuen, and if it was fixed then it would gel nicely with all the pads that come in. Drums are great, although could do with being tightened upa bit sometimes, shorten the samples or whatever. Really feelin the breakdon at 2.17 with all the glithcy percussive elemetns.

not usually the sor tof thing i make, any thoughts on this apprecated.

rubiconguava- nice rhythms at the start, snare sounds weak and cheap though, all the rhythms after the drop is great, the subs nice and meaty to, i enjoyed listening to this nice one mate.
budspencertron- nice sounds, it all sounds loud but for some reason it feels flat at times, maybe work on the use of compression here otherwise its an interesting little tune.

stefevr- the growl at the start sounds a little muddy, other wise its a nice intro. wheres the sub after the first drop man! it all sounds really light, get a sub in there pal, the second drop is a bit chaotic for my liking, also work on your mixdown pal because its kind of an assault on my ears but not in a good way. aside from that its got potential to be a nice bro tune.

heres my stuff for what is worth, but this is an immensely rough draft, we're talking geordie shore rough here :')-

@cheeky love the fx thats working in the background gives a nice atmosphere just keep on maybe add a little bit more punsh to the mids sub is working nice

@rubiconguava love the melodies but i have to admit the snare is to offensive for such a mellow tune maybe try a clap with reverb but nothing sharp

worked again a little bit on

@budspencertron great collection of sounds, your snare is hard as fuck, only improvement i can think of is get a stronger melody going, just to make it
more catchy!
@cheeky, nice sub bass, but its just a bit too repetitive, play around with the pitch bends youve got going on to liven the track up.
@rubiconguava loving this, fucking good rhythm, pads fit perfectly, heavy sub, makes ure to link me with the finished product haha!

This is something i stringed together in 30 minutes or so, at the moment im struggling to excel when comes to mastering sub bass, so if anyone thinks that mastering is their strong point, works on ableton suite 8, and is feeling what they hear, let me know hahaha! :4:

listening after confused am I. :corntard:
idk what was going on with that but the drums are too fast, and aren't organized or really done well, overall...and the bass sound is also not great. and the song is 16 seconds :(
sorry for the harsh criticism, but hey, its your first ever production, nobody's first song is fantastic...just give maybe a year or 2 of practice and you'll get alot better.

Disclaimer: There is a sample in here saying "Get ready for the biggest fucking bass drop ever". However its probably not the biggest bass drop ever. Still this is by far my best little tune yet.

@promethium x - I really like your atmospheric start and the wobbles that you have but a more pronounced drum beat might make it lot easier to dance too. The bass is pretty tripped out tho which is a good thing.

@BudSpencertron - very freakin trippy, havent heard much like that before, props. Weird noises all over the place. I feel like your bass could fill up a little more room though. Im listening on crappy speaks so that might be it but overall awesome feel.

@stefevr - shit is wonky as hell I like it a lot. Im into nasty raunchy stuff and this hits right where it needs to. Awesome sounding snare and the super glitchy bass is sweet. Kinda sounded like it was going to be a techno song at the end haha. Solid sounding track if you ask me.

@rubiconguava - I like the groove to your track, It was definitely very atmospheric and moving. The only thing i suggest is to possibly try different EQ and maybe more reverb on your snare/clap to get a more real sound. When i switched to my laptop speakers all i could hear was a sampled clap repeating and barely any other elements. I think that would help improve it a lot.

My current WIP is in my sig... wanted to try and make a super nasty throwdown. Thanks in advance for feedback be critical please. Ima link it anyways since a bunch of people probably wont read this.

@LukeRaith- I love the melody, i like how it sounds overdriven, i dunno if it is but sounds cool, cool vibe and mood.

@Budspencerton - heavy track man, sub is really powerful and goes well with the drums you chose.

@Stefevr - this one sounds unique sounds like metalish dubstep, nice to see original stuff!

This is me attempting liquid drum and bass, my vocal blurring is very bad because i just started to use them.
