Will always rate skream, i mean spewing out shit like the judgement @ 15 years old.. + to name a few mad riddims hes made like hag/make me/blipstream/tapped ... jeez the boy brang weight.
But yeh, great shame hes sold out :(, no longer a dubstep legend for turning his back on the scene he helped create

as much as bass cannon is a monstrosity, to be fair i am sure skream and benga dont give a shit what gets said on here. nothing is going to change so just accept it (whilst shedding a tear over Flame/2D etc etc etc etc etc)

they clearly do...we all remember what happened around dmz's 6th bday and what they said on their twitters about this site because of what was said on here

and like others have said and it basically goes without saying...gods for the work they have put into this music and scene, which we all acknowledge and salute them for but nowadays, you'd have to pay me a bill at least to see them lol...the worst thing about it is skream will tease us with tracks like 'down to the core' every now and again lol

Of course they don't give a shit. And I don't blame 'em, but maybe they should listen to the people that have been following and supporting them since day 1 for a change. Instead of flaming them.
Don't get me wrong though, got loads of respect for both of them, solely for what they brought to the scene in it's earlier years, but I think that they are acting like fucking divas lately, especially skream, and I think they shouldn't.

What's so hard about just staying down to earth and cool about things like Loefah or Mala for instance?

they may have different goals in life? they might be ok with just chasing the money and they may actually just like the music...(if you meant in the aspect of pushing music in the video that is in T/S's og post)

Mala's stance on music is admirable...and is a reason why he is in my top 5 music artists period...but it isn't the only route...and yeah brasco you're right lol...but at this moment in time, i couldn't care less what they do, there are a lot of artists making great music at the moment for me to..

They're not gonna play a deep/'true to the original sound' set in front of that crowd, it'd clear the place. Context, guys and gals.

Honestly, who fucking cares?

If you don't like it why have you spent so much time listening to/being bothered by it?

We live in an age where so much music is so readily available and a significant amount of it is good. Go listen to good music, don't listen to music that you don't like.

Let Skream and Benga do what they want to do, no one can argue they don't have pedigree and I think the outstanding quality of some of the music they have made gives them a license to change their sound if they feel to, and make a few quid and have some experiences they'll never forget etc etc

All you so called " true dubheads" should really go and spend some time looking in the mirror. Im sorry to break this to you but its 2011 not 2006, if you was a true "dub head" you would take time to appreciate all angles of the dubstep scene. Your hating on skream and benga?? but they made the scene what it is today? if you hate all this shitty wobbles and noises make your own genre? oh no you cant because your just a hating troll behind a screen. stop talking shit about the 2 men who created this scene, im sorry not every type of dubstep is pure bassline like kryptic minds ect... if it was dont you think the scene would be abit boring listening to the same tracks over and over? theres only so much you can do with a bassline before you start creating something else? if you dont like them dont listen to it. its pretty simple. i enjoy all the whole spectrum of dubstep as it is the " scene " i am in too. you should learn to accept progress you dont see many djs complaining about vynil to cd do you?? a select few heads have stayed loyal to vynil and i appreciate that but the majority have got on with the change.

What Jay-Z says can easiy be applied to Skrenga.

"Hov on that new shit ****** like how come?
****** want my old shit, buy my old album
****** stuck on stupid, I gotta keep it moving
****** make the same shit, me I made the blueprint"

Ahh the ever ending argument rears its ugly head...

All the oldies being pretentious.

All the newbies defending the way the scene has gone.

Please let it go, in regards to the argument presented, i saw Skream at dmz in leeds in 2006 along with coki and mala as i can remember.
Night went off, will always remember it.

I saw Skream and Benga perform at the custard factory last year, walked out half way through. Yes i believe they have lost their spark.

revised version

"Skrengas on that new shit, DSF is like how come?
DSF wants their old shit, buy their old albums
Dudes are stuck on stupid, Skrengas gotta keep it moving
Producers make the same shit, Skrenga made the blueprint"

Don't give a shit about the Skream & Benga issue, was shocked when I first heard them playing tearout stuff, not bothered anymore, their decision, but this statement made me

Has ANYONE ever called themselves "true dubheads".
