HotShot - Luna's Theme

Hello!

My name is Morten Danielsen, I'm a 21 year old house/electro/dubstep producer from Norway.
I've been producing for almost 10 years, released around 16 tracks on different labels (Pacha Rec., 1605 Music Therapy, L8-Night Rec ++) and now I have finished my first ever dubstep track that took me 6 months to produce.. Probably my biggest project ever...

"Luna's Theme" is a dubstep piece that is far more melodical, deep, and emotional than the typical dubstep track. I really enjoyed producing this, but this took me alot of time and effort making because of it's different sections and soundscapes.

I think I really made my "own" style of dubstep with this one...

wow 6 months lol i don't think i've ever spent more than 2/3 days on a mix. it has very enticing melodies and great progression (which is what i aim for in my mixes). the wobbles are a bit plain imo but this song has great energy and structure. good job

should give some of my stuff a listen on soundcloud, i go for similar kind of appeal when producing dub

Love the house influence. I think that take on it makes much more interesting dance oriented dubstep than brostep. Love the musicality too. If you got a female vocalist for this, it would be a huge track. I don't have a decent set of headphones near me, so I can't comment on the bass content, but the mix sounds great. Very nice work.

Great track, gorgeous melodies cut up perfectly by the beat.
Everything seems fine, synths, sounds etc, and it is well produced. Though I can't comment too much on the bass on these speakers, but it sounds good, what I can hear.

May I ask why it's called Luna's song by the way?
My cat is called Luna hahaha, after a character in a movie.

The reason why I called it "Luna's Theme" is because Luna is the latin name of our moon, and the atmosphere in the track is very spacy, yet dramatic but also romantic, and gets me to think about travelling through outer space. This track makes me think alot, and thats why I called it Luna's Theme!
