get a pair of Mackie824's or 826's...
oor the cheaper option ..
Behringer Truths w/ the subb should set ya right....

no no no! m-audio is the best monitor for his price! mackie is great,but chris renegade very like m-audio monitors!

in that price range, yes

although I suffer from having the ones down the DX4 pair.. very small ,quite harsh top end, but not terrible

gonna upgrade and fork out for a sub I rekon..

i've got those. they sound nice and crisp but they've got fuck all bass

in the "budget" catagory I would have to say the KRK Rokit range are the best I have heard personally

lol yes the behringer "truths: are shit! shoule rename em' "lies"
yamaha is always a good way to go, forgotten the model number, but they are little white ones, up there with mackie 824's imo.

monitors dont make tunes imo

just used hifi speakers till u need summit nice.
then ull have more cash to spend aswell

iv got these monitors they are ok but lack on bass im gonna get a bx10 sub soon tho cant fuckin wait big bass. !!!!
