Did your mate get Shoal cut to acetate or something? I wish Tectonic had put Shoal on the other side of Dread/Loveless, not saying loveless is a bad tune I'd just much rather have Shoal...
Yeh Shoal was my favourite off the album.. it was planned as the second plate backed with subterranean i think? then 3 more tracks on the third plate including dune. A few test pressings were made, I think Youngsta & Pinch have them as well as Jack Sparrow. A few months ago a copy of the test pressing (the triple pack) was made available for sale by Jack Sparrow himself, and my friend fished out a fair bit of money to have it shipped over here. So jealous but he lent it to me once to play out
