Honestly, intro sounds like my little nephew going wild on my drumkit :D
Ah those double-bass sounds get me wet everytime! Going to start something like this aswell, seems a lot of fun!

Ahhhh mate, it was a first for me, but yeah I'll be writing an entire EP like this now I've done it, As for your nephew, he has impeccable timing.
Syncopation is a lot of fun but yeah I get that reaction, haha. Glad to have been an inspiration I suppose. Cheers man.
A conglomeration of my old tearout tunes I like, and my new ones I don't

@kes-es this shit sounds like an old slayer song its fucking awesome lol not much else i can say but great approach to a tune

heres something ive been messing around explicit content so sorry if the cussing is too much, i related and have always loved this song, so i took a jab at it, plus ive never done vocals on a track so i wanted to practice :)

@Beastmodefordummies i like the idea you have going on, not to keen on the the main synth thou, i would work on getting the vocals to sit on top of the tune a bit more if ye know what i mean?

@beatsmodefordummies really nice after one or two listenings only thing i dont know if its intended or not the vocals seem very deep

@cubicle good sounddesign only thing i see is the main bass is missing some kind of feeling maybe add a reverb or some thing for a room feeling

@burnlees drums sound nice maybe just bring the bass more in the front ;feeling the floating melodies

@BudSpencertron - Really liking the vibe off this, the bass sounds nice and analogue sounding too, loving the little arp section that comes in and out too. keep it goin.

@Cubicle - Very nice tune man, sounds like something you'd hear on Ultragore. that Main synth is really well put together too i love the whole tone and grit of it, reminds me of something Torqux & Twist would use. the only i would say is to tweak or add on another octave to that Square wave vibrato synth. the Drumstep change up works too btw.

@alexvont12 - Very nice work man. the main bass kinda eats up the track though and gets a bit overbearing at times. maybe sidechaining it to the kick/snare might make it a bit more cohesive with the rest of the track.

Here's something i'm fiddling with and need to top it off before it goes off for mastering. let me know yer thoughts.

Crap, sorry I forgot to give feedback! :u:

@Morath It's nice man, not really my thing, but I can appreciate it, I guess the only thing I can give feedback on is on the first part of it where it's drums and the vocals maybe add something to fill it out a little?

@Brero Really like the atmospheric sound you got going on here, I really like this man, nice and chill B-) Good work! :)

@Burnlees it sounds good mate, but I'd have to agree with Cubicle, I don't think the wobble fits...

My buildup / drop :
http://soundcloud.com/mynameissenan/att ... op/s-hzxRt

First attempt at a buildup / drop, I dont have any good speakers so I know that the mix of it is terrible... the bass is too low, it sounded a lot higher when i was making it

This is just the intro for my latest electronica track. The dnb/breakdown is still very rough and was not originally intended to be rendered.

Atticuh- think your on to something with the melody, just clean your sounds a bit though, they sound a bit grainy bud, otherwise its a good basis to carry on with.

Narrator- eq your midrange wobbles in the intro, they sound too heavy for the intro, and it takes away some of the effect of the drop. also, maybe make your midrange less harsh in general, gets kinda heavy on the ears too much.

BeastModeforDummies- Nice vocals man, good atmospheric synths behind it, liking the drop as well it has a lot of presence, this is either hip hop or dubstep, and i think you need to emphasise which it is more, definitely needs to be bassier, try add a sub or something to compliment the tune.

Here are my two efforts, almost finished, just need some final touches

@ Cheeky: Wonky drop, feeling the mood you have going on here. Solid drums and bass, don't really know what else to tell ya but keep it up!
@ atticuh: Nice cheery mood, just needs a bit of cleaning. Love the switch on 1:00 though, maybe pump the drums up just a bit.
@ narrator: Insane intro and drop! Don't know what else to tell ya, keep the filth coming!

How's everyone doing, thanks to everyone who left feedback on my 'Coming Home' tune.
It's finally done after 15 hours of work :] Thought I'd go on and release the 320 out for free.

@darkdubz - wow. These samples and FX-s make the atmosphere very hypnotic. Nice and strong track!
@BeastModeForDummies - big up for Biggie :D but the synth is awful. Sorry. But i love the idea. Keep going, man.
@BudSpencertron - wow. I love the first synth! Nice vocals. Cool track, but imo the bass synth isn't just right... dno, maybe it's just me or my headphones.
@narrator - Although i dont listen filth, i have to say that i like this track. Really nice bass synths and vocals!
@cheeky - WOW. "Hotboxin" is a madness! Luv it!

Here's my WIP. Tried to do something melodic and nice this time.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
Thanks, guys! Much love

Great thread, first time posting... any feedback greatly appreciated as trying to get this tune ready for release (eek!)

@ z6z: nice pad sounds and melody / melody progression :) drums are really nice too... just seems like its a bit lacking in bass, some kind of clean subby bass playing a dub (not dubstep) style bassline i think would go nicely...

@ cheeky: production sounds pretty clean and everything seems to be sitting well, to me it just seems a little bare with its elements... some kind of melody/vocal or just some random sounds/fx through out could make it a bit more interesting (my track i think is at the opposite end of the scale and it quite crowded)

@ narrator: huge tune mate! loving the mash of dirty bass tones and wonky melodies, you on a good ting... production is tidy as too, would probably buy it if I came across it on beatport!

Here is mine, dont think it will be up everyone's alley, there are some pretty bizarre sounds in it, but would love some feedback on the production side of things;

@Cheeky - loving that hotbox choone bruv. heavvy

@z6z - Liking the tribal drums you got going on bro. imspired me haha

@darkdubz - strong production bro. 1.23 drop is large. One other thing, that little sound at 1.34, sounds very similar to a sound tetsuo use's in gate crash haha

@arfus - nasty :twisted:

@circusjam - ahhhh sickk bassline. feeling your style alot!

- This is my first try at this style of dubstep. any tips of getting a phatter sounding bass? can't get a hang of a nice WUB yet

@sketi ... wow your glitchy drums put mine to shame! like the intro drums!, sorry i havent really got anything constructive to say about it, the mix sounds nice on my speakers (nothing conflicting). really enjoyed it ^_^

@z6z ... really liked the beat when it came in,,, thought the pad was abit in the background of the mix, maybe a sterio splitter enhancer thing on it to bring it abit into the front. (just my opinion tho) ,, didnt really feel much low end, so perhaps could have a subby lower layer on your kick and let that ring out a bit longer (or the dub bass as mentioned in previous post) , really liked the melody and africany style beat.

@atticuh... i dont know what this is but i like it! ^.^ , oh dear breakdown!...... some of it sounds abit on the effects level, like underwater really filterd out gurling,, but to me that also gives it its charm.. :] love the electro elements in it.

@beastmodefordummies.... Awesom intro! nostalgic! thought the arpegiator was abit fast.. but thats taste, like the idea but i thought the synths were a bit to powerful in the intro ... the kickdrum roll was nice made me think it was going into a house or hardcore tune, kinda liked the drums.. could do with some bass line perhas ,, and maybe finding a place for the vocal hirer up in the mix , eq. (just my opinon tho) :) looking forward to see what you do with this.

---> a drumsteptrance thing ... *theres a filter on the breakdown that goes too low i know this* all feedback and comments appreciated.
