Addiction is addiction. It doesn't matter if I'm in LA or Hong Kong, all addicts have a common bond as well as a common enemy. That being said, you don't necessarily need to understand another culture because most addicts face the same issues on a day to day basis regardless of your economic standing, race, social class, or your location.

Many patients are able to go to controlled government pill lines already. Family members take doses home for the others. Some addict, who DECIDED to use drugs, makes the CHOICE to rob that person of life saving medication on the way back home. How could that act be understood, excused, or tolerated?

Think about it. Burglary, depression, anxiety are just a few things that all of us addicts have in common, or we just contemplate it more than others. The desire and actions never change, so the only real variable is location. That doesn't change shit either, so give us your argument and we will defeat it.
