Manually achieving a tapestop effect.

Post by reverend » Wed Jul 13, 2011 3:01 pm

In fruity loops.

I've got the dbglitch and the tbt tapestop vsts but I'd like to manually create the sound myself. Would it just be a case of automating the pitch and tempo?

yup. you can do this in more than one way. you could load it into the sampler and turn on portamento and slide about with the keys <-- seems like the easiest way to me.
...in my opinion

Load in sampler, turn recording on for automation, pull pitch knob down...

Or... Do that with an audio clip if your working with something long enough to merit being in the playlist as its own entity...

Or... use grossbeat. Grossbeat will fuck dblue and all that up any day of the week.
