Record shops in Birmingham?
Anyone know of some places to do some crate diggin in brum, visiting some peeps and don't want to come home empty handed.
Had a little search and seems the good ones closed sometime last year, just wondering if there are any gems still about.

Here's the ones 've visited in the last year
Opposite the square pegg pub, on corporation st, is oasis market. On the ground floor is HQ muzik. Its small shop but the staff are friendly and have alot of experience and they keep up to date with releases
Near the queensway island, next to nostalgia comics is Music and Video Exchange... you never know what you might find there.
I cant remember what the shops called but if you get to tesco's on new st, there as small road next to it that goes up a hill
and the shop is on that road. They sells alot of second hand stuff bit similar to ^^...
Lastly, about 20 mins Outside the city centre in erdington, near six ways island is smokin vinyl they tend to deal more with dnb there but ive bought a few gems there b4... the staff are the most miserable people i have ever met though.
happy hunting

Its by TK Maxx and New Street Station. Come out of the main entrance at street level and walk right passed TK Maxx. Continue down that path, across the lights and its on your right after the comic shop.Nimb wrote:there is supposedly a music and video exchange somewhere
