= KOLLEKTIV =
Kollektiv, conceived in early 2010, is an open minded music community run by Glasgow-based DJs and promoters who are heavily involved in the city's music scene. It aims to provide accessable and fairly priced club-nights, providing a range from techno to house to dubstep, and other music events for the people of Glasgow, through individual organisation as well as in collaboration with the massive variety of other musicians and promoters working in the city.

= BEN UFO =
Fulfilling his role of co-founder - with fellow DJs Ramadanman and Pangea - of record label HESSEL AUDIO, Ben Thompson, a.k.a. BEN UFO, has been at the forefront of the releases of a bombardment of some of the best and most forward thinking dubstep & bass orientated production to have come out of the UK in years.
Hessle Audio, made famous through its series of groundbreaking releases from Untold, TRG, Elgato, Pangaea, Blawan... and, of course... the widely adored Ramadanman (a.k.a. Pearson Sound) has made a massive name for itself and gained a remarkable amount of international respect for a record label that is only 4 years old.
When it comes to Ben UFO, however, you will find Hessle Audio's discography distinctly lacking in any production of his. This is due to one of our favourite attributes of Ben Thompson - he is one of the few of the modern wave of UK DJs to have made a successful name for himself through the quality of his mind-blowing DJ sets alone.
With no productions, remixes or collaborations to boost his name as a creator of raw beats, Ben UFO has simply developed his own, unique method of creating new music... with two turntables, a mixer and a commendably genre-blurring and open mindset towards music.
