.wav to .rex with piano roll
So I have a bunch of .wav loops/samples I want to use in reason. When I use ReCycle to change them into .rex files and load them into drocto, the loop shows up as one note on the piano roll. How do I convert the .wav file to .rex file while keeping the piano roll notes in tact? Sorry im a noob
Re: .wav to .rex with piano roll
Pretty sure you have to slice them. I dunno about Reason, but you have to add zones yourself in Recycle, or use the automatic feature to get as close as you can so that the slice data is saved in the actual rx2 files.

Re: .wav to .rex with piano roll
you can`t just convert the wav to rex and think it has tempo synced slices.
As wormcode says, you will need to add the hit zones yourself.
Once you have edited the file correctly and converted to rex2, you will have individual hits.
