Reggae Dub Delays

hello
i've been trying for so long doing those long reggae dub delays!
i always play around with the time
but still can't get them right..

anyone could give me a tip please?

Tape delay emulation. The dub boys would use actual tape to make delays.

If you're looking to drop some cash, the UAD tape emulation plugins are the best I've used, but require UAD cards.

My favorite delays for this is dubstation www.audiodamage.com/effects/product.php?pid=AD006. Put it on a send in your DAW with a limiter. Make the output wet, delay 1/4T , automate the send nob in you DAW and the regen on dubstation.

check out NastyDLA, ET-301 and Tape Delay on this list of the best free delay vst plugins.
