Explosion in Oslo // Utoya, Norway Shooting

Well, it is now thought that the person who has been taken into custody at Utøya, was also behind the bombing in Oslo as well. He is Norwegian, 32 years old, and lives on the west side of Oslo. It's a good thing (in a way) that he's Norwegian, otherwise I think we'd see lots of muslims getting harassed here in the coming days (it started on Facebook/Twitter immediately after it was known it was a bomb).

german news states that the norwegian investigators are fairly sure it's not connected to international terrorism, which kinda fits the fact that the shooting happened at a socialistic youth camp.

My parents just arrived in Oslo two days ago and my brother lives there, luckily all okay.

*edit just read 91 deaths confirmed, that's the total btw*
*edit2 also read that at Utoya a police assault team responded really fast.. I'm trying to find out how he managed to claim
that many victims. Of course there were over 500 people on a small island but still.

He sounds pretty extreme. I think the reason he did what he did seems to be founded in his disgust with what he feels is a wrong political direction taken by the Norwegian government over the last few years. He basically says that the current government (predominantly consisting of members of AP, the party of the youths that were shot) are too liberal and progressive when it comes to immigration and on how Norway treats criminal immigrants.
