So I took about a week away from Ableton and staring at the computer screen because me not being able to get my levels right has really started to discourage me... It has seemed no matter what I am clipping, or something is fighting with another element of my song, and nothing is coming through as strong as I want it to sound. I have read through the mixing and mastering thread under the production forum and I have taken their advice, Macc is who I can note specifically, and even then I have had issues with stuff sounding like I want...
Here is what I have to offer after I messed with my levels a bit more, I know it's still probably not worth a damn, but I honestly am running out of patience with the whole gain structure thing, it seems as though I am making it harder than it really needs to be, are there any good videos out there giving good techniques for gain structure and mix downs in Ableton? Specifically dubstep?
Anyways, here is what I have, any pointers, suggestions and advice will be taken seriously, as I need all the help I can get, thanks for your time in reading and listening to this guys.
