My remix of a track called 'Glare' by a producer named Great Skies
Went for a bit of a deep garage sound on this..

Those drums are far too quiet, weak to the point of being redundant. Reverb would be a better tool if you want to bury them in the back of your mix.

Yer hats and percussion are low in the mix, thats the sound I wanted, but kicks and snares I thought were punchy enough without ruining the feel of the track

I would boost the volume on the compression a bit, specifically the compression on the hi hats, because they fuzz out into the pad synth, so it ends up all sounding like atmosphere with a block snare and lo passed kick, definitely feeling the tune more of a deep dubstep vibe than garage just because of the phaeleh type melody and rhythm. Big ups man, send it my way when you're done with it ^^

I get what you mean about the hats, I did cut quite a lot of the high mids out which meant it got a bit lost in the pad, sorted that out now. Yer I think your right about deep dubstep rather than future garage. It is missing a shuffle'y snare pattern, not sure whether to try and add to it or leave it, im quite happy with how it is I think.
n cheers Terra, I will do
