well, im no expert. But what makes you dance to a track...
think about it as if you were in a club and that track you love to skank the fuck out to comes on.. what isit about that track that makes you want to get down and skank low?
figure that out then try to reproduce it... is it a catchy melody? the timbre of the bass, the drum break? even its simplicity!
this is something that gets me as well, so dont worry.. i find some of the tacks i brok out to are so repettitive, but in a much better way than the repettivness of my tracks.. so fuk knows lol
1 thing to remember is the structure of a trak. pop music uses the same structure in a lot of songs for the reason that it works!! structure is important IMO
