My "help me make that sound" is the kind of bass drops and "twists", beginning at 1.39.
I tried several mixes of filter cuts and automations, distortions or bitcrushers, in vain...

For Heartless, the sound you need is the same as the 1st one of the track, try to detune a bell sound, or a woodblock, with a fair reverb and some delay.

Search for threads about making a Reese bass. I can't listen to the song right now, but it's Spor so I'm assuming that's what it is.
you assumed correctly. its not a normal reese, its a neurofunk reese, so look that up on the youtube or something.
...in my opinion

help me make the midrange bass at 00:15.
It has an original sound to it.
I am pretty sure it has a pitch envelope for and a slightly increasing lfo rate, but I can't wrap my head around how it sounds so smooth.

there's a slight trancegate effect on it, either that or a square-lfo modulating the amp. on the second time it drops there's also a random square lfo modulating a fairly resonant filter.
or use an amp envelope and draw in lots of staccato midi notes.
regarding the pitch, either a pitch envelope or just glide and then sampled only the low part of the riff.

hope this was helpful!

I can't even.. Everything in this track is awesome. Cant figure any of it out either.

The heavy snares are sex. Sounds like a few of them layered, maybe a clap too, and then huge reverb and a delay on the second.

The first bass, is so fucking groovy. God I love skream, such class. I can't think of how to get that down, though I know I should.

What I really cant figure out is the second drop at 3:41, or just his 'angry' modulations in general either. No idea, absolutely none. How? I know this is new, but dear god my curiosity.

I want that Mobb Deep, or 94 era east coast hip hop sound.

I'm not black or from new york or living in 94 but I don't think that should hold me back.

How? How did they make it so...growly.

It doesn't even sound modulated, it sounds like they made a whole bassline, then cut the fuck out of it. Is that about right? A lot of distortion and resampling? Any tips or techniques to achieve this kind of sound? I don't even want it as dark, I'd like it a bit more melodic, but I'd love to know how to get to that stage. It really works well with the drums, it almost sounds like drums, it has that single shot effect. Any tips would be great.

Forgive me if this has already been asked. I'm still pretty new to production but one sound I'd love to be able to recreate is the first sound after the drop (55 seconds) of this track. Warm, fuzzy, intense.

its a reese. a pretty good reese, I must say, but that effect is done by adding like 10 notch filters and modulating each one's position independently. I'm still trying to get a feel for making that type of sound.

I'm looking for the atmospheric pad sound that comes in at 1:25. Wave types? Filters?

They are just sampled strings with a very nice chord progression. You can recreate these with something like the Vienna Symphonic Library or something like the included string samples in kontakt.

Do you mean add a notch filter after every resample? seems extremely time consuming. But that bass is awesome.

Can someone help me out with these sounds:

(a) the 'growl' at 01:06
(b) the high pitched synth that follows (just the sound, not the 'stutter')

Thanks in advance!

no i mean by adding an eq with 10 notch bands or 10 notch filters to the insert and modulating each notch position independently, it gives a cool morphing effect if done right.
