Gf crying her eyes out over something fucking stupid. Had to deal with it.
And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

My mum made me attend the stupid Olympics count down today...
Only remotely interesting part was Kissy Sell Out's set, which was right at the end...

The performances were awful, one group were miming, and then they had that dead pop band "The Feeling". Fail didn't end there. They didn't do a sound check before the show, so nobody could hear anything, and most people missed the first 20 mins of it...
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?

fucker. he has two young daughters too.
That's bullshit. I can tolerate people joking with me but getting my ass slapped without my permission? Oh, I will fuck your pretty face up! That's a no-no. I know you don't want conflict at work, but that's just way out of line. You can report that fucker, although, since you got laid off, it might come off like your intentions are different.

Yeah unless theres any actual proof it will just look like you're making things up out of spite. Maybe the best thing to do is to let human resources or somebody know what happened but say you dont actually want to take it anywhere, but you believe he may be doing the same to other people. Not going all out to try and get your job back (which is unlikely to happen anyway) but still making it awkward for him and if something similar was to come up in the future with somebody else it would be more likely theyd believe the victim.

thanks for all the words of advice everyone. i think LA boxers has it right though... going to let someone know so that he doesn't keep hiring exclusively females he's attracted to and subsequently harassing them. i don't need money to come out of this--i would have gotten let go regardless of whether he was being inappropriate and i am not the lawsuit type by any means--but it would be nice to give him a little reality check.

cheers :Q:

Did you actually water damage it? Or were you told it was water damaged? Phone companies and shops etc will say its water damaged because that voids most insurances. If you dont remeber it getting wet then they are just trying to mug you off! Pro tip.

It appears to be dress-down day at work... I didn't know, so I'm sat here in a suit amongst a room full of people in jeans. Dress-down days are fucking stupid. Still, at least I didn't come in wearing shorts like the dude who's just been sent out by his boss to buy some trousers before a meeting.

No, but he does come from your fair land. Another of your countrymen has come in wearing a bright orange fake prison inmate's t shirt. WTF?
