I think it's supposed to be five thousand this year.
Mungo's arena was weird for the DMZ night last year - they stopped letting people in but there was easily enough space for a hundred or so people.....
?
I hope they haven't over done it with the numbers this year. I can see tempers getting frayed :?

dindin wrote:Still one question lingers in my mind after going last year and the capacity being 3000, and it being pretty much perfect. I remember hearing they've upped the capacity and developed the fort a little more, anyone got any idea of how big the capacity is this year? Dont really wanna be a sardine in the mungo's arena for dmz, had optimal space last time next to the rig
it's "doubled" in the amount of tickets sold....so i reckon there will be queues to get into some arenas depending on who's on...but dmz in mungos only took like 5 mins to get back in...just stock up on tokens before getting into the arena

I believe it's more than 5000. But also bear in mind there will be more stages, etc.

Hopefully the timings at the different arenas will be better so that the crowd does actually split up. But, I'm also counting on boat parties to help get away from the crowd a bit.

errr.. why would you want to go to court and miss the whole festival? And get a record, and get a stamp in your passport...
Because I didn't hear of anyone managing to get off with just a bribe last year. I'm sure it happened but haven't seen anyone posting about it.
You have to have the cash on you and offer it to them before any paperwork is made. I guarantee they will accept... I think 200 euros would be enough for weed. Obviously a lot more for class As. I am english and have lived in eastern europe for 6 years.. believe me I know what I am talking about!

I'm sure they'll accept 200 euros. Hell, I would. However...why not be smart and avoid getting caught in the first place, which is what this was all about in the first place?

I did, my mate paid 800 euros to bail his girlfriend...obviously after paying that amount of money all charges we're dropped
800 EUR is guaranteed more than a months salary for them, if not 2... that is fucking loads!
What did she do/have specifically?

I guess ill be smoking elsewhere than the festi itself..
Any bud being smoked in the late night concerts? Meaning, passed around in the front which happens on a lot of live acts ..
What about the camping? Do they have undercover cops and CCTV cameras in your tents too ? :dunce:

DAMN this is gonna be so fricking nice, CANNOT WAIT!
Anyone else outside UK going alone there?

Minor concern, but what footwear do you fine gentlemen suggest a newbie to Outlook should wear?

Flip flops and a pair of trainers. Nothing white or light coloured. Nothing you care about too much.

Yeah, really not advisable to wear flip flops to the fort area (unless they've cleared it up tremendously), just use those for the beach/anywhere else.

Yeah, not flip flops to the fort. You need proper shoes for that walk. Trainers will suffice.
