In the first one the hats can come up and I think you have a lowpass fileter on the kick and snare? They sound way muffled. The basses could work but the chord changes dont really fit, at least thats what Im hearing. 2nd drop is better but that bass is a little too noisey and there are some loud sounds that come in outa nowhere.
The second one just needs some time with the levels and eq, you seem to like muffled snares.
