As much as I love that kind of sound, every time I read this thread I end up with fuck tons of new producers names and very few of them are really standing out. Nearly all the tunes here are amazing really, but for me very few of them have their own distinct sound that can make me say "Oh yeah that's a tune from xxx" like I'd say "oh that bass is definitely from LX One". Maybe I have yet to dig deeper for that kind of things. Anyway keep it up everyone !!!

I know what you mean, lots of songs sound the same. Maybe some of these producers should throw in some midrange to help them stand out.

yeah that might be true but on the other hand you can see how theres a certain agreement across the board with current producers on what the "dungeon sound" should in essence sound like.
now, given enuff time someone is bound to push the sound further hopefully they'll at the same time stay true to the "sound".

I always loved this type of dubstep and never knew that it had it's own name. Very cool.
Thank everybody for sharing these tunes...bunch of good music to sort through here.

It shouldn't
just another box to keep a small style of dubstep in imho. This doesn't mean that I don't like these types of tunes, more that i can't just listen to this one style of dubstep without getting bored...
