Another vocoder question. please help.
I know there must be allot of vocoder questions on here so i'll keep it short. What vocoder allows me to completely mute the carrier signal's sound. I would like to change the key of a vocal but don't want to here the sound being used to do so. Does anyone know if this is possible ? if so could you recommend one please. Anything but Orange, lol thanks

Re: Another vocoder question. please help.
You must mean the modulator. The carrier is what you should be hearing, modulated by the modulator. If this is what you mean, then in FL the Fruity vocoder does this very well. Pan one signal hard right and the other hard left, make sure fruity vocoder knows which you want to be the carrier and modulator and it's set. If you just want to change the key though, there are easier things you can do. Newtone is great, and pitcher is good if you want to change mid song.
