Favourite artist percussion-wise?

easy guys, been a while since I made a thread

thought I would see what you lot are saying when it comes to percussion. Maybe I am becoming a more mature listener ( ) or something but recently I have been proper focussed on percussion in certain tunes... who are your favourite artists/tracks for percussion?

I'll start by saying my personal favourites are
Kromestar (especially the hi-hats, nobody close)
Mala (ref. to Livin Different & Shoop - video below)
and Tes La Rok (always so crisp)...

Also i notice that Tes la Rok's drums sound a lot like datsik (or vice versa), especially in Uprise.

Yeah, definitely Shackleton for me. He's got some great rhythmic designs.

Also I really like Icicle's percussion. Not all that too surprising though I guess, since he's a drummer.
Silkie as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Silkie was a drummer too.

I'd say it's between Mala / Burial / Pinch for me.

Percussion is something that really separates the top producers from the mearly brilliant I think. It took me quite a while to realise this. Back when I was a bit of a bro-fan ( ) I paid next to no attention to how a producer sculpted the percussion. Just accepted the whole prevelance of 'kick...snare'. I soon discovered the brilliance of some carefully crafted drums. And after all it's an integral part of what makes dubstep exciting and interesting - it's no all just about the bass.

I'll have to check out some more of the names mentioned here.
