Has there been an incident that has majorly pissed off as many people around the country as this in the last 10 years or so? The looters seem to have fuck all support from anyone, maybe I'm just seeing the responses of civilised people.

Also seeing quite a few folks grouping up on twitter to go defend their neighborhoods

hopefully its a sign of the tide turning?

Even GrimeForum seems to think it's a bit over the top! Though they were having a great discussion about how best to get a stolen iPad online without Apple finding you... too predictable!

Apparently all the riot police headed to my neighbourhood (Oxford Circus) and none of the rioters did... sent on a wild goose chase because they're following the wrong people on Twitter intentionally spreading disinformation. The infowar just made itself a hard copy.
