Survey to see what people want to see at events
Survey to see what people want to see at events
Hi every one were just doing a little survey for a business plan seeing what people want to see at events ETC..
were looking to incorporate a massive visual aspect at events with more VJs and like themed stages more like what u would find at festivals.
Any more ideas would be appreciated good to see what people want see at events.
heres the link to the survey.....

Big soundsystem, no lights save for a few behind the booth so the dj can see what they're doing. You don't need anything else unless the music wouldn't stand up on its own.

Good music, good crowd, respectful door staff, maybe a smoke machine... That's all you need.

id agree with these points.. VDJs and all that can be really good! I've seen many visual shows and they always blow my mind! however if your talking about a dubstep night, where the tunes are gonna be more moody and dark, you don't want any gimmicks or interactions. Just lights off and the volume up.

decent doormen/bouncers, big rig, more weed smoking indoors without trouble.
tbqf i couldn't give a shit about video projectors, and i HATE smoke machines save the cover it gives for smoking pot.
Ought to just allow pot, and never use another dumb smoke machine. Those things suck. there's nothing fun about choking on a bunch of weird vapours when you're already in a sweatbox struggling to breathe. their effects don't even look good.

big system, and no shitty MCs that don't shut the fuck up (i'm not saying no MCs, there are just too many ridiculously annoying ones)
visuals are nice, but not having any wouldn't reduce the quality of the event whatsoever

wall to wall subs and bar staff that don't fuck around.
also nothing more annoying for me as when an event is oversold and people are packed liked sardines

Re: Survey to see what people want to see at events
Im sick of going to events and leaving with migraines.
Please. No more green lazers, strobe lights, ect. Maybe a good old fashioned blacklight set above the dancefloor. Anything more, it pushes it.
Parties with extensive lights draw the glowstick waving swimsuits-in-bars too many bracelets massive. Much rather have a bunch of normal looking folks and a dark room, big system.
No hate on partykids, glowstick it up, just not so close to my head.
/random thoughts on parties with lighing.
