I dont understand how so many DJs miss their flights!? I'd make sure that I never missed a flight. Obvs sometimes if things are very tight then its kinda understandable, but I see it happen alot for no reason except lazyness.

What's with all this stuff on channel 4 tonight? The history of hip-hop or something, sounds good enough, but they're talking Mark Ronson, Tinchy Stryder and some other bunch of kunts that I wouldn't really consider the face of hiphop. A 5 minute program called "WTF is dubstep?" Sounds fantastic right? Especially as it's followed with a Nero 'concert.' Oh, and a profile on Modestep, hurrah!

Are people still towing that line about "isn't it great that dubstep is starting to get some mainstream recognition?" Well if they are, they should fucking stop it.

Well this is all about as excruciating as I imagined it would be. Fuck knows why I'm watching it. Am I wrong or was there a time that Nero were actually quite cool and one of the more listenable/original tear-out producers? This is some seriously gay, band-wagon-jumping shit right here.

I saw The Widdler in LA last night and it was really amazing overall. I've been very disappointed at the turn of events here in San Diego with shit parties every weekend. There's almost nothing to enjoy and I am considering hanging my dancing shoes already. The party last night brought me back to how it was when it started here, where there was nothing for a month or two and everyone got excited and antsy while waiting. When the time came, everyone was there. With "dubstep" mostly saturating the city, good parties turned shit cos of mixed crowd. Once good promoters were now booking shit DJs. Can't even support other DJ friends anymore cos the noise is just unbearable.

Last night was refreshing to the soul. Proper music for a sober lass. It needed more crowd participation me thinks. Plus, I still don't get why people try to start a conversation - I'm close to the speakers with earplugs on. Let's not. I wasn't checking you out. I'm currently having sex with that DJ's music, leave me the fuck alone. You try to interrupt me while I'm in the zone, I'll be a fucking bitch. Anywho, I like The Widdler. I'll be stalking that ass music! On that note, I consider myself partly removed from this scene and participation is now limited and strict. I'd rather stay home and watch the SNH ninjas do their thing on the weekend. I feel like a grandma now. On a happy note, I am ready to buy digital tunes. I would still prefer CDs, maybe I can contact the producers/artists directly to send me a [burnt] copy but I don't want to be little miss i-want-physical-things here.
