Mr Bong- Bong Addict Ft Bakaman
Artist: Mr Bong Ft Bakaman
Release: Bong Addict
Release Date: 22 August 2011
Remix: Callan Maart/ Melodik/ Liver

We are very excited to welcome Mr Bong to the On a Break crew, and of course introduce him to you. With a bucket load of releases coming over the next few months from the talented producer, we have added some serious quality to our release schedule. For now we kick off with his debut EP “Bong Addict” Featuring the just as talented “Bakaman”
Mr Bong’s – Bong Addict is a breaks fuelled dance floor destroyer, supported brilliantly by the vocal styling’s of Bakaman. With traditional break beat goodness and a nasty supporting bass line you would have to have a very good reason not to be grooving to this one. Bakaman drops some wicked vocals to complete an already great track. If you into your breaks, you will be into this.
First up on remix duties we have rising dubstep producer Callan Maart. An On a Break regular and label favourite, he does what he is best known for, and hits this remix out of the park. Doing the dubstep thing he offers us a slamming yet groove infested version for you dubstep heads. Great use of the vocal and key elements of the original, this is one great remix.
Melodik jumps in next and gives us a remix on the darker side of things. As is Melodik’s way, we received a deep “melodic” remix which contrasts everything else on the release. With great production and imaginative use of the original track, you are going to be getting low to this.
Bringing up the rear we have Liver who once again chooses to go dubstep with his version. A more minimal remix, his addition of extra synths riding on top of the bass line gives a very unique edit. The inclusion of a host of new sounds accompanying what he was given to work with, pans out excellently. Liver provides the perfect addition to round up a monster release.
