I must confess... i dont go out to shows very often. too many mediocre experiences with respect to DJs, sound systems, crowds etc...

HOWEVER!... I must say I had a genuinely great time tonight. I went and saw Silkie and an elite little posse of dedicated, local vancouver artists. Great sound, fun crowd, awesome DJs and just a generally positive experience all around. lots of familiar faces.

I just wanted to briefly say thank you to all those involved in making the night happen... from promoter to sound boy and of course the man, Silkie. I particularly enjoyed Silkie's mix from classic DMZ into his own stylings, a great new tune off his new album (city limits 2.0) called... "LUCKY." I may or may not have gone mental during this part of the show. I apologize for nothing.

I made the trek to FWD a couple of months back to see Silkie, Yunx and Ben UFO, and it was incredible. They all killed it, but seeing Silkie was great after being a fan of his tunes for so long.
Out to Silkie every time.
