I like the second drop much more than the first. It almost sounds as if you could make 2 tracks out of that. The second drop is dope though I like it.

Ah I see. Separate the two more, as the drop just comes straight in there are no transitions in between. A breakdown before the drop.

I am really liking that drop though.

Gave feedback on soundcloud to some people, otherwise I'll be feeling lost and have to copy text + go back a page + listen to more tunes + paste and then write more as I listen.

was really getting into that DNB track you got there teknian, as people said on your soundcloud the bass is very noisia-like. Cool sound

@ninthy4 gosh man, love this! i like a way that kick and bass sounds, it's so badass and mindscrewin'. keep it up.

Work on getting the drop cleaner. And post a clip of the mixed version. This one is hard to critique, because the mix is off. Pump up the drums during the verse, too. Maybe vary the bass line with some synths. Good stuff, hats sound sick.

jetpack- like the darkes vibes and that arp, yu should put a sub line under that melo ; if u already have one ; bring it up.

evader- cool tune, up the kicks ; add some effects to the vocal to make it a bit more interesting.

kidstrange- i like the build into the more metallic metallic sounds, nice pads; atmosphere is defenently there.

put this together in under 20 ; arrangements fucked and shit, idk what to make of this wip at all honestly--

re: your collab. Love the wobbles in this. A real nice chilled track. Hats are pos a bit too prominant and the snare feels a tad thin.

what the fuck was that. that drop needs more impact but the sounds and grittiness are fab. that drop could be fucking huge ha.

love the lead line at the very start. When the wobble comes in it feels like there should be more impact. could possible be an octave too high? loving the vibe though

I mean the drop seems to hit suddenly, but doesn't seem to "drop". It comes in right after "I'm here", maybe drop off all sounds and bring a short riser in to set off the drop more.

Beautifull intro man, props.
Intro might be shortened abit in my honest opinion.
The build up is spot on, the distorted kick is weird yet fitting.
Some sounds might need some cleaning up on the higher frequencies as far as my ears work.
Props mate, keep it up!

Has some hip hoppy feel to it tho.
Intro gets a bit repetitive, try to add more to the equation. (effects, pad, etc...)
Beef up those drums, your kick seems a bit low and that snare could be layered aswell.
Nice ideas!

Try switching up that main synth a bit.

Track seems incredibly loud compared to others tho, don't know if it's just me.
Levels seems to be everywhere.
Copy your main bassline and fiddle around with it so you can switch sounds from time to time.
Drums are incredibly silent for me. Layer up that snare and EQ that kick out (I can hardly hear it).
Add compression to the bassline and lower the level of that pad that keeps running through.
Keep up the work mate, you'll get there!

I like where you're going but it seems that bass is bathed in the lower fequencies.
That pad running in the back fits perfect.
Has a laidback hiphop feel to it.

That's as far as I could go atm, if I had more time I would leave more feedback.
Bear in mind that everything I "feed back" on is my personal preference.

It would be sweet if the people I gave feedback to replied on my soundcloud, just to keep this thread nice and tidy.


Now for my WIP.
Been working on this tune for about 2 weeks now. Inspired by the great chestrattlers from District and Sleeper.
Please leave some feedback and help me out on what could be changed or what doesn't sound right to your ears!

thanks for the constructive comments, I had a similar idea with the intro to chuck some more ambient noises through out the intro, and maybe even a slight change in the chords to spice it up.
The mix probably won't come together fully until I finish producing the track, then I'll get my teeth into making the kick and snare mesh with the track.

I got most of it done last night before I started on a new track which I spent the rest of the night on. So I'll have an updated version of this and my new WIP a bit later today.

just so people know I've been leaving feedback on your soundcloud's instead of on here, since I usually check one track out a time and its easier then typing out a whole post.
going to check out some more tunes. cheers everyone
