FL STUDIO 9 CPU GOING MAD, NEED HELP!!!

Post by Astate » Fri Aug 26, 2011 1:37 am

Ok well recently my cpu rate on my fl studio is going mad when i play my project, it never done this be4 and ive installed asio and have a audio 2 soundcard from Native insstruments. every time i play the song the cpu goes to 99 and fl studio just starts glitching out and the sound glitches out aswell and it makes my laptop freeze mostly aswell.
it never does this and only just started when i made this new song and it hasnt even got that many layers?
and ive tried loads of things, ive made the buffer rate etc on asio perfect and everything is at the right level so that there should be no cpu overload?

PLEASE HELP!?

could be a dodgy plugin. sometimes you can just turn the effect off by either disabling the whole fx chain or turning off that green dot and sometimes you need to remove the plugin from the project completely.

Try that smart disable too, in the mixer channels.
Usually dodgy plugins yeah. Complex automation can do that too, some plugins spike the CPU when being automated.
