Hey, well Piers Tronik is definitely in India now so I'm handling all things drum & bass wise over the next couple of weeks so bear with me!
Release wise we have big promo's this week from DC Breaks on Ram (be quick these always fly), big jump up from Serial Killaz, Taxman, Sly remixing Pish Posh plus new Grid pressure from Mutated Forms. On the new release tip there's Loadstar's new 12" on Ram 'Berlin' / 'Hit the Ground' now in, Calibre's quality four track 'Hummer' EP, Majistrate remixing Nu Elementz & Decimal Bass, plus dark, hard 12"s from Rregular, Gein & Cooh. Also worth a mention is Roni Size's remix of Josh Osho ft.Ghostface Killah.
Repeater Sessions is back upstairs at The Hippodrome this Saturday where one of our favourite deeper / liquid producers Marcus Intalex will be playing. His Soul:R label is responsible for some of the finest deeper d&b moments of recent times with the likes of Alix Perez, Icicle, Break, Calibre, Lynx, S.T. Files, S.P.Y all releasing tracks over the last 10 years. Really looking forward to this one!
Also we have a massive main room party on Wed 5th October with Ram head honcho Andy C, reggae legend David Rodigan & Hospital / Ram artist Cyantific all in attendance, a few limited early bird tickets left for only £6! See you soon, Mike
