After turning down numerous unappealing £7 an hour call centre jobs I was feeling a little disheartened so decided to visit one in person. Surprisingly I had to do a data entry test and a word and excel test, which i was a little nervous about as it had been some time but thankfully got 100% in the data and word test and 90% in the excel. The average is 60% so my result made me a grade A candidate and they offered me a job interview for a trainee Property Manager role paying between 25 and 40k. Fingers crossed.
Further to my previous happiness I was disappointed to hve to phone the recruitment agency yesterday only to be told that they have not requested me for an interview as the company have already found somebody to fill the position.
Despite my disappointment I decided to phone the manager I was to be interviewed with directly, explaining my ambition to pursue a career in property management and after impressing him with my initiative, ambition, good telephone manner and ability to get past his secretary he has arranged for me to be interviewed next week.
Once again, fingers crossed!!!!
