Is there some kind of plugin similar to massive's performer?

Post by darpy parp » Sun Sep 04, 2011 1:51 am

Hello, I apologize for any noob mistakes, I've only been working with synths and DAW's for about a month now trying to better myself and learn as much as I can.

anyway

I was wondering if there was some kind of plugin out there to make life easy when it comes to automation. I'm using Logic 9 and if I choose to automate the cutoff directly in logic, it's a pain in the ass to copy/past every time i want to use a certain type of waveform. I was curious as to whether there was something out there similar to how ultrabeats drag and drop patterns work but instead of midi regions, it pastes automation.
heres some of that wobbly techno and them drums those kids seem to be into these days...

WOAH.

I've kind of been wondering the same thing. I don't think the MIDI shaper works in that way with AU, only the VST version does that.

Apparently it doesn't work in Logic, is there any similar programs out there?

One thing that annoys me about Logic - is that you can draw in automation fine, but you can't do clip-based automation (so that it isn't globally applied on the track, but on individual clips).

I downloaded it and have no clue how to use it, I put it in as an insert and all the knobs work but nothing happens where you make the waveform; no modulation. It's just as if I've applied a regular filter. I'm trying to use it with Massive. It sad because this looks sooo useful.
