why the autotune? both have great voices. liked the song but think i would have enjoyed a more natural vocal line much better

Blake uses auto tune a lot, but usually in a creative way I think
sub.wise:.

I'd be interested to hear anything they might do that's more in a Bon Iver style. This one feels very much like it was a Blake production. It's an interesting collab since they both occupy a similar musical space but arrived there via very different means.

Never listened to Bon Iver, but happy for James Blake he's found someone equally pretentious/self-indulgent to make music with.

Like Bon Iver but its autotuned to the teeth and lacks balls.

The Eastenders drum fill at 1:15 after the horrible discordant part is amusing however.

I actually prefer Bon Iver over James Blake, but in my opinion this tune is horrible. It seems like collaborating for collaboration's sake, no point whatsoever. And I don't get why would you put 2 of the most beautiful voices on shitloads of autotune. I understand it's an artistic way of using it blabla, but if those two can sing like divas, let them be heard dammit.

It's just a single though

If we're assuming they have a joint album dropping then I highly doubt the entire lp will be auto-tuned
