Depends on where you're at I guess. Over here, the average person sees it as a high end beer, solely because its an import. But anyone who actually knows anything about beer sees for what it is :cornlol:

Oh. Ok... That's why I'm asking, because it's expensive import here (Baltimore), my fav was Corona (also expensive) recently switched thinking SA was better. They ARE emphatically better than American Beer, period though.

What are some truly high end beer? Clean, crisp, very little hangover... Etc

I bet you have some decent microbreweries in your state, look into that.

If you want something that is a little bit better than stella...get a Hoegarden I guess? Or Erdinger? Czechvar (or Golden Phesant) are pretty good too, but I wouldn't call them high end lol.

You gotta get yourself some London Pride or Hobgoblin. Real Ale is boss :Q:
And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

Somehow they managed to convince everyone to pay a bit more for shit lager by using the strapline "Reassuringly Expensive".

I can't believe there's no way to fucking sue them for that.

I emphatically disagree with that statement. I know you are just thinking Budweiser, Miller etc. There are some great breweries in the US. Off the top of my head there is Full Sail and North Coast among many others. But those are West Coast, so quite literally a few thousand miles from you.

Stella is a light beer to me... ;-)

There are some good American beers but just like British ones, they're drank by a minority.
