Gritty bass effect

Post by greggianopoulos001 » Tue Sep 13, 2011 3:37 am

At 1.02 there is this grit to the bass that I have heard all over the heavy dubsteppers basses recently. I am asking for some positive feedback as to what effect/resampling techniques I would use to create this. Also ...I AM NOT asking how to recreate there bass so please don't be posting chirps about copying people's basses. I would simply like to know how to make that tone. Feed me, kill the noise, zeds dead and skrillex also produce the similar idea of what I am saying.

Anyways hope for some good feedback!
