agreed, too easy.
But let`s see if the quality is better because of it.

Yep, that's fine. TBH I'd be offended if at least one person didn't bounce that amen onto tape and reimport it back in with some analogue grittavravlavish wrote:Can I record these sample STRAIGHT on to tape and run them through hardware effects and stuff like that? It would be straight through 1/4 inch and RCA chords nothing else, no mics. Is this okay?
You are indeed, hell you could split into two teams for all it matters...though the online collabs might get a bit confusingjrisreal wrote:YESSSSSS!!!!!

Glad you all approve. Although you understand that with such a shit hot pack, I've not only raised the bar for the quality of entries that you'll no doubt be putting together, but also the quality of future sample packs to comeElectric_Head wrote:agreed, too easy.

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 32
I think I'll give this a go, started working on something yesterday that's actually coming out surprisingly decent. Question though, when you say we can use any sound processing, you mean we can timestretch, add effects, and essentially build synths from the samples? We just can't use any sort of generator plugins? If that's the case then I'm all good.

That's what I thought, thanks. It's pretty interesting making music like that.
