>>Vinyl DJ's gigging in London<<

Where you playing next?

I haven't seen/heard a vinyl set, aside from at DMZ's, for nearly two years since Mala played Deviation. Just think it would be great to see some guys playing out, if only to give me some reference and to see others do their thing. Kinda fed up of seeing decks used as Laptop and CD stands! Some of you may be reading this and hearing David Attenborough's voice in your head, like we're an endangered species of some sort, but it'd be cool to have a specific thread for this I reckon.

So yeah, feel free to post up in here if you've got anything coming up, wherever it may be, so I or anyone interested knows where to reach to show some support. Just an idea. :4:

Weird we get a quite lot of vinyl sets around here but it's mostly timecode, you are probably looking for
people who use actual plates.

GET LOW SUNDAY SESSIONS v BELOW THE LINE ft ILL BLU,JAMES FOX,NIGHTOWL+more
★★★ GET LOW SUNDAY SESSIONS ★★★

★★ SUNDAY 2nd OCTOBER ★★

★★ FREE ENTRY ★★ 1PM - 11 PM ★★

Get Low is back to take control of Camden's own Lock Tavern once again on Sunday 2nd October to help sign off the week in style with an array of musical delights topped off with a mean roast, cheap beverages and an evening BBQ.

As always we've put together a tasty line-up to blow away the cobwebs of the weekends outings and shake off the pre-Monday blues. On top of this, we've also teamed up with good pals from Brighton based Below The Line who will not only bring their full tour de force that tore up the beach at Outlook, but also help us stream and record the entire thing live on their highly anticipated site http://www.belowthelinetv.co.uk/.

Full line-up:

★ ILL BLU ★
This has been a long time coming; we're proud to finally be hosting Def1 and Jreel who make up the refreshingly authentic sound that is Ill Blu. This is funky as it should be done, with simply naughty tracks and remixes with some of the biggest names in the field, definitely looking forward to this.

★ JAMES FOX ★
Deep bass driven music is the name of the game, a subscape where Mr Fox excels. Pushing his sound from Dubstep to future house sounds, come and get absorbed for a special Sunday set.

★ NIGHTOWL ★
We've crossed paths with Nightowl a couple of times in the past year and have never been disappointed. Effortlessly slaying dancefloors and pulling out tune after tune from an Aladdin's cave of a record bag, this will be an absolute treat.

★ WACHS LYRICAL ★
Producer/DJ/Promoter, Liam seems to breathe the industry. With a strong belief that you can't pigeon-hole music by basic genres, come get a masterclass from Wachs before he returns to the US to complete his schooling of our trans-atlantic cousins. ** Wachs Lyrical absolutely smashed the Outlook Festival beach parties. Killer DJ! **

★ D-RAIL ★
With a new found passion for Moombahton and Dancehall, make sure you get down early to catch the Get Low regular in action.

★ DUBLOKE & STICKIE DAVIS ★
The two masterminds behind Below The Line with a distinct sound that has helped them carve out a name for themselves. Teasing audiences and leaving them always wanting more, keep an eye on this lot, with the launch of Belowthetlinetv on its way, big things to come.

★ GET LOW CARTEL & MADBOY ZIMBA ★
You know how we do it and you absolutely love it you shlaaaags.
