DJ Dara is considered one of, if not THE, best drum'n'bass DJ in the USA, but his presence is felt internationally. Orignally from Ireland, Dara moved stateside in the early '90s and quickly established himself in New York's underground dance scene. Furthering the movement, he helped open Breakbeat Science, the first drum'n'bass-only record store in the country, which lead to the development of two spin-off labels, Breakbeat Science Recordings and Orgone. Not to be outdone by his peers, Dara released his first full-length album, Rinsimus Maximus in 1997, which was quickly followed by Halfway Home on the same label (Sm:)e Communications) and the mix CD From Here To There on Moonshine Music. In addition to recording music and running his record store, Dara's also known for his Web-TV show, Velocity, on which he interviews drum'n'bass contemporaries from around the world.
Dara has a keen ear for the classic style of clean drum'n'bass and he uses it to create dark and beautiful melodies with hints of color from deep bass grooves with seamless transitions. An artist and an innovator, it takes a fair amount of skill to not only be able to create the beats you like, but to know who else is doing it too. With his own record store (Breakbeat Science) and his own labels (Breakbeat Science Recordings and Orgone), DJ Dara not only plays the scene but lives it in all aspects of his life. He gathers influence from the other artists he works with, a progression cleary shown if you listen to a retrospective of his stuff from Rinsimus Maximus to 2004's The Antidote.

Representing New York City, Dave is a known and devoted contributor to the North American Drum and Bass community. Owner of Driven AM, the premier North American DnB Artist Management, Record Label, and Production company. Events coordinator and resident DJ for various NYC parties including ‘100% Original’ and for the past 7 years as part of the legendary NYC production team Direct Drive. Music has been a part of Dave’s life since a very young age. Dave’s extensive music background includes performing in local and regional theatre, singer/songwriter in a band (1996-2001), guitar player/singing in a jazz band on multiple trips to Italy alongside respected Jazz Pianist Pete Malinverni, Djing since 1998, producing electronic music since 2002. most historic neighborhoods in the world. Growing up within the melting pot has inspired the MC known as T.R.A.C. His name alone
clearly states what his intent is all about….” To Rule And Conquer”.
T.R.A.C (aka Terry Nickz) is Brooklyn born and influenced. This NYC resident is a crafty songwriter/ lyricist who can adapt to many
different styles. He takes pride in being original and “pushing the envelope” while still keeping that classic Hip Hop sound in every song
he touches.
T.R.A.C.’s influences range from the 80’s to mid 90’s which is often dubbed “The Golden Era”. Being the student at that time has shown
him many things through the sounds of Rap, Classic soul, R & B to Classic Rock. His is mind is very much open to the world so when he
expresses himself it becomes an emotional ride. If not for the lyrics then TRAC definitely has the voice.
The BK MCs first real taste of music came from an experiment in the Drum n Bass world. He along with Dj ICUE created a song called
“Next Level $hit”. Released in 1999-‘01 on the Top 100 CMJ Charted Jah Nezah:“This is Liquid Sky” compilation. the song fused Jungle
and Hip Hop together bringing something a little different and refreshing to the world. This kind of music was labeled ‘Hip-Step’. It was an underground DnB success and is still is played from time to time.

Surviving on talent and desire, while ingeniously creating a unique experimental blend of Hip Hop / Drum and Bass music known as Hip Step (Hip-hop Influenced Productions Stimulating The Earth People), I-Cue is out to make more than just a little noise. Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, he blends his tracks flawlessly and produces music to move the masses.
A true innovator in a world of followers, I-Cue holds the title of Hip Step pioneer... one of the few in the world. As a skilled turntablist / junglist, he brings diversity to the crowd, bridging hip hop and drum and bass into a style now known as hip step - drum and bass and hip hop as one.
I-Cue has also shown a range of production styles with numerous acid jazz / hip hop releases dating back from 1994 to 1996 on a label called New Breed Records. This is the point in I-Cue's career (and history) where the hip step genre began to develop - a subgenre of the new jungle hop / jump up genre. In 1996, I-Cue was signed to the infamous Liquid Sky Records.
Near the end of the millennium, I-Cue was the brainchild behind many hip step productions under the moniker "Mike & Ike", as well as other releases of his own on the Liquid Sky / Jungle Sky record label, such as "On A Journey", "Plutonic", "Deja Vu", "U Know My Steeze" (released under moniker Blunderground Massive), and the New York City hip step anthem "Next Level $#it" featuring T.R.A.C. in 2000.
Not only is I-Cue one of the most skillful turntable technicians in the US Drum and Bass scene, this native New Yorker has spun at the now legendary NASA and is presently a resident at Konkrete Jungle NYC.
His skills are ingenious, his tracks are creative and unique, and he is a pro as he lays down the experimental foundation of the hip step style - a hybrid mash-up of hip hop, jungle, drum and bass, and breaks.

Then i moved to drums when hittin' the age of 12! Since that time one has played with the best bunch of guys I ever knew that is Sugar island plus i learnt from most of Newrys finest in the Business. In the summer of 2000 at the age of 20 my brother took me to a place called Thailand. lets just say i learned a few things about the meaning of life. In 2002 I moved to NYC. Hailing from Fort Greene - Brooklyn NY, Golden's passion for music came at a very early age. Being exposed and going to clubs in the early 90's literally spending his checks on music alone, DJ-ing was his calling. His musical influences are deeply rooted in Hip Hop and Soul/R&B. At 17, he traveled to London and strongly followed the jungle/drum & bass scene working at an underground radio station, meeting his mentors and favorite dj's. He got his first big break at 19 as a guest dj at WEBSTER HALL. Since then he has played New York's finest clubs such as Shelter, APT., The Cooler, Sapphire, Baktun, The Lunatarium and the list goes on.
