This is a ridiculously good giveaway, some many big tunes in there...AND IT'S FREE!!!

I am pretty sure that 256's are fine for using in a club. Obviously 320 is what you want but i doubt you would even hear a difference between the two.

http://www.lincomatic.com/mp3/sw256.jpg > 256k
http://www.lincomatic.com/mp3/sw320.jpg > 320k.

i know the differences are probably hard to see if your not used to staring at frequency analyzers all day, but check it :

sharper, clearer response in the upper-high-end on 320k. 256 appears to have removed some frequencies up there entirely, as well as greatly distorting/changing others.
Modified or distorted signal between 1200-1400 on 256, with attenuation spikes in different places than 320 (meaning different frequencies have been boosted, distorted or lowered)
Severe distortion on low end, if you look, there are several downward, quiter spikes in the low end region which have been boosted in 256 (cloudy subs now), as well as the mid-range-bass area in 256 being considerably quieter and less defined then in 320. The lowest of the lows, in 320, appear quite well defined, while the lowest in 256 seems to have meedled together (look at the difference in the lines at the verrry left of the images)

Trust, you might not here these differences much at home, but in a club, they will become more noticable.

interesting other images...
http://www.lincomatic.com/mp3/swwav.jpg > This is the wav of that file... jesus MP3 encoder, leave high-ends alone please, this looks way better then 320 did!
http://www.lincomatic.com/mp3/sw192.jpg > 192 k... where did the hihats go? Whys the midrange-bass so quiet? Why are almost no frequencies below 50hz hitting aside from a few random little spikes of noise?

EDIT ::: I didnt make these images ;-)

I knew there was obviously a difference in quality but didn't really realise it was that drastic.

absolutely loving this, out to the adult swim camp :h:
"There is a lot of tension in the music that carries a satisfactory darkness with it, but it's also lazy music. You don't have to dance hard to move with it. It was born with a reefer in it's gob."

why 256 anyway...... ?

so we can listen to em, but we cant introduce people to the joy of hearing an amazing tune (Starkey - Eris, im looking in your direction!!) in a club or on a big PA?

im not knocking either the tunes or the generosity of the artists, but just why o why not even 320?

and yes i know this needs not to be said, and has been said several times in two pages...... but needs to be said!

well then why give them away for free, u dont want someone to play out your tunes, why put them on a compilation for release...

Distance and Skream dont want anyone to play out the Make Me remix..... so they didnt release it!!!!!!

if was an artist, id want my music to have as much exposure as possible, so if i released a tune, id want it to be able to be dropped on a rig!!!

im my humble opinion!!!! :D
