This has an awesome drop. This song reminds me of the older pre-midrange style Dubstep I love. I still can't get a bassline to sound like this in my tracks. Good job!!

this is so sick haha i know this might be a dumb question but i'm shooting toward making tunes like this and i'm wondering if you have a sub bass and then another layer of bass thats like really low mids that follows the exact same melody? or is it just one bassy patch?

you always want your sub layer separate to your mid layers ^ ;) can do all the fx you want then without distorting your sub

yes its a seperate layer mid bass is rolled of about 100hz
