This. I was disappointed at first but it grew on me and now I'm absolutely loving it. You're right, it is missing something, the other 8 maps and 4 game modes :W:

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Yeah as if they didn't test that already.

I'm finding it very difficult atm with not knowing the maps and whats with the dark areas being pitch black. That shit is a snipers paradise which is horrible to try and attack against.

Same here. Try increasing your brightness or getting a TV which doesn't suck!

I'd suggest adjusting the brightness and contrast of your screen.

it's not that.... there are flaws with how the engine handles shadows right now. Sometimes when your players eye level changes it dratically changes what shadows it renders.

like if you, in real life, crawled on the floor and all the sudden your room went pitch black, you stood up and it was fully lit

My screen also gets stuck with that blue filter all the time. Have to pause and unpause.

that's from a flawed LOD (level of detail)

This happens when you try and save space by reusing high level textures and your engine freaks the fuck out, for lack of a better term, and visually tries to show a link between the re-used textures.

A very common problem that is easily fixed if it's identified. The fact these problems are still indz the game leads me to believe there are going to be other issues in the game as the game is obviously being rushed to compete with MW

Good gameplay with decent graphics. I'm really enjoying the demo. My weapon of choice at the minute is the first sniper rifle with an ACOG scope. Fun, fun stuff. I don't mind how it's only one level in the beta because really it's more like 3 levels in 1. The thing I am most impressed with at the minute is the sound effects. They are absolutely brilliant. I wish I had a good sound system or a pair of Turtle Beaches or something to truly experience it.

The flaws I have come across so far is some dodgy looking textures. I have noticed with trees that fall out sometimes depending where you are looking the tree will be cut in half (kinda hard to explain what I mean). I've had the blue tint on my screen and also sometimes there will be flashes of white or red on my screen randomly (not the flashlight or laser). Sometimes the "press B to arm" message appears on the screen when I am nowhere near the objective and a similar thing happens with picking up weapons. The final issue I have come across is where you are unable to aim down your sights and have to switch weapons.

I am suprised they didn't include a map with vehicles in the beta. I hope they have been well tested internally although frankly these current issues really should have been picked up way before a beta stage.

I'll most likely buy this game. It's a lot more hectic than COD at times which I love and the gameplay is just a lot more varied.

Yeh i've seen that glitch a few times now :cornlol:

Loving the game at the moment, it takes a little while to get into but once you unlock some good attachments and weaponry it's all good.
I managed to get around 40 kills in my last match being top of the leaderboard.
I just wish they would let us play the Caspian border cause it looks epic.
