its lame that you have to buy modules (like certain effects) in the app...

There's quite a bit included for 5 bucks, we think, and the idea is to keep expanding the app to include more modules, so in-app purchases is the way to continue developing the app's offerings. You don't have to buy any extras if you don't want to, though. We felt it was necessary to give everyone the primary sound generators and then allow them to expand as they wanted to. If we offered everything, the app would be much more expensive.

Sweet I think I'll give this one a shot tonight! It looks like it'll be a great app for getting ideas down quick when I'm stuck in lecture or have a lull at work, and the price is right!

I have it, i enjoyed using it. As soon as i get my ipad back from my dad ill be using it alot more its nice for jamming a basic idea of what you wanna get done with.

looks amazing, but i dont have an Ipad, so ipad + this or maschine.... would get it in a heartbeat if i already owned a pad though! might have to convince my mate to get it for his so i can play...
