I am just curious though, how did you go about making them? Bigup
Basically I think it was 2 snares, one was really really punchy, one sounded like a crunch. Compressed the shit out of them literally, EQ'd them don't be afraid of whacking up the 200hz region thats essential < just try that with different snares and layering with different compressors, distortions that sorta stuff.
I am definitely going to be making a big sample pack full to the brim of loops and stuff I made, kicks, snares. Watch out for that one

I was dressed like that because I just got back from walking my dog and it was cold outside. And I post a lot because I'm very involved in the community.

Woah! Awesome snare - kind I was searching long time, because only one that worked Is my own sample and can't make another one I like.
Rest kit wouldn't be bad, but MORE snare and tutorial would be TITS!!!

ouh! free samples! nice!
if anyone here is interested i have a lone snare sample i synthesized with malström that is really punchy and perfect for heavy dubstep and drum n bass...ok so it's one snare but it's effin' phat and sounds awesome when layered with a snappy high snare and/or clap!it's actually my secret ninja snare come to think of it...
it is the main snare in this song :

and this song!

just PM me if anyone is interested or wants the drum racks i used in those songs...
