If only it were that easy. If only it were as easy to love this tune. Don't think there is a better tune to kick off this EP with. It's bouncy and bassy.
02. Perciflage
Proper relaxing tune, one where you wouldn't think the basslines had so much impact on it. I guess this means they go well with the rest of the track?!
03. Hound Dub
I believe my sound system might not be right for this sort of Dub, as it doesn't appear to bring the experience I trust it could give on another one.
04. Auspicious
Intense tune, gets me going every time I listen to it. There is loads of bass, but it doesn't ever seem like too much, because everything else sounds great too. If I were to promote this LP by uploading previews, this one would be amongst one of my definite choices.
05. Irksome
Sorry? Did I mention bass before? This one is unstoppable. It has this real authentic feeling to it. A warm feeling. It's like a tune straight from Africa.
06. Electricity Bored
Not that I wish to say I'm bored with this track, but I felt like it took me too long to get the vibe. I'd say it took me about 3 minutes. However, this was the first time I had heard this track. Might that not be a coincidence? I'll keep you updated in case I love it all of a sudden.
07. Highlife
Highlife. That's the name of the shop I've mostly been getting my stuff from. Adding that to the fact that the LP is named after this tune... what could go wrong? Genuine nice tune since the first time around, and more so thereafter. The last few minutes are so intense!
08. Perciflage Dub
It's a pretty cool tune, sort of a mix with the original and Hound Dub if you'd ask me. I would prefer the original.
09. Racid
Funky all the way. I can only imagine the thrill playing this to a crowd that's feeling it. It reminds me of the first day I discovered Alter Ego, when I was only 14.
10. Mighty Terror
Disturbing intro, feels like someone is dribbling with a basketball during a nightmare. Oh wait... do I say this because of how the track is named? It's either that or you just made something that works well with that title. I wouldn't call it my favourite track of this LP, but I definitely notice it's a great track.
11. Tuva Smarties
Have you had a hard time deciding which track should be the last on the list? I'd go with a "last but certainly not least" when presenting it. Another one where the sub works swell with the rest of it. A nice and soft landing.
